In traditional elections, public participation is optional and all voters must go, personally, to the polling station. With the implementation of the Electronic Voting System, potential voters that would not participate in elections for any reason, are encouraged to participate, motivated by the practicality of a modern and agile process, consequently increasing the total of valid votes, leading to more robust results, and finally portraying more accurately the real will of voters.
